| Custom built by Pirate to create a tornado or twister in a controlled studio environment. The vortex can be up to 7' (2.1m) high x 2'6" (0.7m) diameter. It is built to allow easy lighting of the vortex from several sides. This rig has been used, as in this example, to create a white vortex shot at high speed with a borescope to represent a swirling dust cloud on Mars. | |
